"The Old Athol House Cemetery"
is the oldest cemetery in Restigouche
Here a photo of the church as it was
It stood in the cemetery from about 1810 and was used til 1834
It was also used as a school

The church and tree have long been gone

A Memorial monument now stands in their place
Which can be seen in the other picture below
paying tribute to the following families
and it reads

I have transcribed the Roman Catholic records of the Atholville Church 1910-1928, and have included the Old Athol House Cemetery records. Some entries are taken from the stones and others from church records.
