Balmoral is situated about 10km South of Dalhousie
The parish of Balmoral was established from that of Dalhousie in 1876
Balmoral being real close (only a few km ) from the village of Dundee
was the host to Scotish settlers around 1820 and it was then known as Dalhousie2
