Enoch was 23 years old when he married Janie Mann on April 24, 1891. In the 'Marriages of Restigouche Co. 1888-1919 he is listed as being born in Caribou, Maine, living in New Castle, N.B. at the time of their marriage. He is son of James Hunter and Irene Tracey, a Millman by trade and a Baptist.
Janie is aged 22, born and living in Escuminac, Qc,. daughter of James Mann and Margaret Kerr, a Presbyterian.
